Straight out of Carshalton, headliners The Rousings mix folky tunes with spiky, new-wave-y guitar and psychedelic wanderings.
Featuring Sean Bright, Sam Palmer and Dan Culli, the band made their Sound Lounge debut earlier this year at the Looking for the Magic ‘Record Store Day’ all-dayer. They returned with their first full set in June, and now bring another delightful and eclectic musical adventure to our stage.
Tom & Chris, aka Tom Reid and Chris Narayan from Scottish indie staples the Jasmine Minks, are in the house, this time in a band format. The night also marks the welcome return of Lidflip, who debuted at the Rousings' June gig, and Demo Buttons, fronted by Chris Barratt and Joe Kinsey, formerly of fondly remembered folk-rockers Billy Vincent.
